Description

 DC Comics Presents... is a comic book published by DC Comics from 1978 to 1986 (97 issues plus 4 annuals) featuring team-ups between Superman and a wide variety of other characters of the DC Universe. 


(The final issue is an exception, instead featuring Superman in an "Untold Tale" involving the Phantom Zone, by Steve Gerber, following up in his limited series of the same title.)


In addition to the feature stories, the series also included a semi-regular back-up series called "Whatever Happened to..." which featured stories revealing the status of various minor and little-used characters.


It is also notable that DCCP #87 featured the first appearance and, in a back-up story, origin of the divergent Kal-El of the Earth Prime reality, who would become known as Superboy-Prime.
